Alia Bhatt Dedicates Her Filmfare Award To In-Laws Neetu Kapoor And Rishi Kapoor; Says, ‘Their Blessing Is Always With Me’
Alia Bhatt penned a heartfelt note on Instagram after she was honoured at the Filmfare Awards 2023 for her performance in Gangubai Khatiawadi
Over the last decade, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has established herself as an incredible and versatile actor. With brilliant movies like Highway, Dear Zindagi, Udta Punjab and Gangubai Kathiawadi among many others under her belt, she has left the audiences spellbound with her incredible performances. She was honoured at the Filmfare Awards 2023 for her work in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial.
The actress took to her official social media handle to express her gratitude towards everyone who has been her support during the journey including her in-laws Neetu Kapoor and late actor Rishi Kapoor. She received the ‘black lady trophy’ for Best Actress (Female) from veteran actress Rekha. Taking to Instagram, Alia shared photos from the award ceremony and penned a heartfelt note for the people in her life. From the team that worked tirelessly to make Gangubai Kathiawadi, the character, her audience, her team that keeps “me in one piece,” to her beautiful family. She went on to thank her mother Soni Razdan, father Mahesh Bhatt for keeping her grounded and steady. She added, “My other mom — my mom-in-law & my father-in-law up there whose blessing is always with me. My gorgeous husband, for hearing me rant about my day for hours and motivating me whenever I was down and out! Alia tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor in April 2022 in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their close friends and family. They announced their first pregnancy in June 2022 and welcomed their baby daughter Raha in November 2022.
On the work front, Alia has Karan Johar’s comeback movie Rani Aur Rocky Ki Prem Kahani, Farhan Akhtar’s directorial Jee Le Zara alongside Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, her Hollywood debut with Heart Of Stone and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra franchise in her pipeline.
